Producer Ratan Jain confirmed that Baazigar 2 is under discussion, though the project hinges on Khan agreeing to reprise his iconic role. Released on November 12, 1993, Baazigar was a major success, with Khan’s portrayal of an anti-hero becoming a standout part of Bollywood history.

In an interview with ETimes, Jain revealed that talks with Khan about the sequel are ongoing. While nothing is confirmed, he emphasized that the project will move forward only if the script is compelling and can capture the essence of the original film. Jain hinted at an exciting new concept but remains committed to maintaining the high quality that made Baazigar a classic.
