Shakib is not able to return to the country.... Shakib Al Hasan said that he is not able to play the farewell test against South Africa. He said, "I was supposed to return home… but now I may not be able to return because of security issues, for my own safety…."

 Shakib transited through Dubai on his way back to Dhaka from the US. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) sent him a security message. According to the board, he should catch the flight to Dhaka only after the final decision on security.

 Shakib added, "Now you can say the decision is final." He had earlier apologized in a post on Facebook and was also included in the Test squad against South Africa. There has been no official comment from either Shakib or BCB on the matter yet.
