Ramu Cantonment School and College has been renamed as 'Shaheed Lt. Tanzim Cantonment Public School and College'. Lt. Tanjim Sarwar was martyred on the night of September 23 while conducting an operation against terrorists in Dulahazara, Chakaria.

 This naming has been done as per the decision of the Board of Directors of the organization. "With this noble decision, the students of the school will be inspired by the bravery and patriotism of Shaheed Tanjim to make the supreme sacrifice for the needs of the country," the board's notification said. The name and logo of the official Facebook page of this educational institution established in 2018 has already been changed to a new name.
