From Sunday, the army will set up temporary camps in every housing project to prevent terrorism, extortion, robbery and robbery in Mohammadpur area of the capital. Major Nazim Ahmed, deputy commander of the 23-East Bengal Regiment, gave this information at a press conference held at the Bachila army camp on Saturday (October 26) at 1 p.m.
In a press conference, Major Nazim said that temporary camps will be set up in various housing areas from Sunday to control the law and order situation in Mohammadpur. Army personnel from each camp will work to ensure the security of several housing areas in the vicinity.
He also said that on Saturday, 23-East Bengal Regiment conducted a raid and arrested a total of 45 people, including two people involved in the robbery incident at Bachila Supershop. Various indigenous weapons were also recovered from the arrested persons in the operation.
