Suman Mia, a student of Sherpur Government College, became the victim of a complex love triangle. On Monday night, the police recovered his body from beneath the ground in the courtyard of a young man named Robin's house in the Sajabarkhila neighborhood of the city. Robin's father is Furkan Ali. The police suspect that the love triangle involving Suman, Anni, and Robin is the motive behind the murder.

During the body recovery, District Police Superintendent Md. Aminul Islam, a magistrate, Sherpur Press Club president Kakon Reza, several students from the anti-discrimination movement, and local residents were present.

Suman’s family members revealed that Anni, a young woman from Jhagorar Char in the district, had been in a romantic relationship with Suman. Suman and Anni were students at the same college, but their relationship ended some time ago. Afterward, Anni became involved with another young man named Robin. Later, she formed a relationship with another youth, whose name remains unknown. However, Anni continued to stay in touch with her former lover, Suman. For some time, Anni had been trying to persuade Suman to marry her, but he refused. Seven days ago, Anni called Suman and lured him, after which Suman went missing. Two days ago, Suman’s family informed the District Police Superintendent, prompting the police to take swift action and begin an investigation. On the same day, the police arrested the suspicious Anni and her father Azimuddin. Their interrogation revealed the true story. Later, the police arrested Anni’s new lover Robin, and Suman’s body was found. The police reported that there had been previous conflicts between Suman and Anni over the love triangle, and Suman had been avoiding Anni due to fear of Robin. Currently, Suman's body is being prepared for an autopsy.

District Police Superintendent Md. Aminul Islam stated that the police had taken the issue of Suman’s disappearance seriously and had launched a thorough search operation. Anni, her father, and two others have been arrested. Based on their information, the police found Suman's body. Further investigation will reveal who else is involved in the incident.
