Bangladesh Football Federation (BAFFE) has announced a prize of 1.5 million taka to the women's team who won the SAFF Championship. The announcement was made today at a press conference held after the first meeting of the new committee of Bafuf. BAFUF member Amirul Islam Babu said, "The SAFF champion women's team will be awarded Tk. 1.5 crore by BAFUF. We will give it soon through an event. Not only the players, but everyone with the team is covered by this award."

 In the same meeting, the Finance Committee and the National Team Committee were formed under the leadership of Tabith Awal for four years. It is to be noted that earlier a bonus of one crore rupees was announced by the Ministry of Sports for winning the title twice in a row.
