Next year, in 2025, the government has announced two official packages for Hajj. According to the newly declared budget-friendly package, the estimated cost is set at 4,79,242 taka. This means that each Hajj pilgrim will spend 1,59,598 taka less compared to this year’s expenses under government arrangements. The alternative package is priced at 5,75,680 taka.
On Wednesday (October 30), the religious affairs adviser, A.F.M. Khalid Hossain, unveiled the ‘Hajj Package 2025’ at a press conference held at the Secretariat.
This year, the cost for the regular government Hajj package was 5,78,840 taka, while the special Hajj package was priced at 9,36,320 taka. Notably, there will be no special package this time.
It’s worth mentioning that the holy Hajj is scheduled to take place in the first week of June next year. This time, a total of 1,27,198 individuals from Bangladesh will be able to perform Hajj.
