The International Criminal Tribunal has ordered the issuance of arrest warrants against 45 people in a July-August case of genocide and crimes against humanity. Among them are Sheikh Rehana, Sajeeb Wazed Joy and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader. The accused have been asked to be arrested and produced before the court by November 18.

Among the accused are former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, former Law Minister Anisul Haque, former Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud, former Social Welfare Minister Dipu Moni, former Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Muhammad Ali Arafat, former Minister of State for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak and former Minister of Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque. Tajul Islam, chief prosecutor of the tribunal, said, "For the sake of the investigation, the names of all are not being disclosed at the moment."
