The BNP has officially submitted its proposal to the Constitutional Reform Commission. According to Salahuddin Ahmed, a member of the party’s standing committee, the proposal emphasizes the “balance of power.”
On Tuesday (November 26), Salahuddin Ahmed handed over the written proposal to the commission's head, Professor Ali Riaz.
Speaking to reporters, Salahuddin Ahmed said, "The reform proposal highlights the need for a balance of power. The reform committee will finalize its recommendations and present them to the government. Subsequently, the elected government will implement these amendments."
He further noted that although the interim government has formed a total of ten commissions for state reforms so far, the issues of constitutional and electoral reforms are currently receiving the highest priority.
