The President made this comment when the Editor-in-Chief of Manabzamin Matiur Rahman Chowdhury asked him about the resignation letter of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in an interview with him.

 This conversation was published yesterday in Manabzamin's political magazine 'Janata Chokh'.

 Besides, the President said that he has heard that Sheikh Hasina has resigned from the post of Prime Minister, but he does not have any official document about it.

 Meanwhile, the debate over whether ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned is still going on and will probably continue for a long time. Sajib Wazed Joy, son of the former prime minister, has repeatedly claimed that Sheikh Hasina did not resign. On the other hand, Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman revealed the news of Sheikh Hasina's resignation in front of the media.
