The bail hearing of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, spokesperson of the Bangladesh Sanatan Jagaran Mancha and head of Pundarik Dham in Chattogram, was postponed. On Tuesday (December 3), no lawyer appeared on his behalf during the scheduled hearing at the court of Chattogram Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md. Saiful Islam. Additionally, the prosecution requested a delay in the hearing. As a result, the court set the next bail hearing date for January 2.

Chattogram court's Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) Advocate Enamul Haque stated that no lawyer was present for Chinmoy Das in court today. The prosecution also requested more time for the hearing. The court has scheduled the bail hearing for January 2, 2025. Since the hearing did not take place, the defense cannot appeal to the higher court. Moreover, due to the case pending in the Sessions Court, there is no opportunity for bail hearing in the Magistrate Court either.
