An NGO office named Bureau Bangladesh was robbed at gunpoint in Chuadanga Darshan. This incident happened around 11 am on Wednesday. When Ferdous Alam, the accountant in the office, shouted, the person who came to rob ran away. However, the fleeing miscreant leaves behind a bomb-like object in the office. The accountant was alone in the office at the time of the incident.

Security guard Ferdous Alam said that a miscreant wearing a helmet and face mask entered the office and pointed a pistol at his head and said, "Give me what you have." I have more people outside.' At that point he ran to the other side of the room and started shouting. People came running at his screams. Before that, the miscreant escaped by blocking the door from outside.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Darshana Police Station Shahid Titumir said that several teams of law and order forces went to the spot and surrounded the office after receiving the information. Army from Chuadanga, RAB team from Jhenaidah and Detective Police team from Chuadanga reached the spot. Within three to four minutes of the miscreant's escape, several people reached the spot and opened the locked door from outside and freed the accountant.

The OC said, "The miscreants have left a bomb-like object." This is why we are staying in the office. A bomb disposal team from Rajshahi has left for Darshana. We are waiting for them. The team is still at least 60 km away from Chuadanga.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Zakia Sultana said, "We have visited the scene. I am working on this. We are trying to find the one or those involved in this incident.
