As the box office earnings of *Pushpa 2: The Rule* continue to soar, controversy and protests surrounding its lead actor, Allu Arjun, have also intensified. The situation has escalated to the point where political debates are now tied to the South Indian star. On Sunday, a group of individuals allegedly threw stones during a protest outside Allu Arjun's house in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills.
Earlier that day, Allu Arjun took to social media to appeal for calm among his fans. On Instagram, he wrote, “I urge all my fans to remain responsible while expressing their emotions, as they always do, and to avoid any inappropriate comments or actions, both online and offline.”
He also warned that if anyone impersonated his fans from fake profiles and engaged in such behavior, he would be forced to take legal action. He further advised his followers, saying, “Do not engage in such posts.”
The controversy surrounding Allu Arjun deepened after a tragic incident on December 4, when a woman was killed in a stampede during the *Pushpa 2* premiere in Hyderabad. Her young son, who was critically injured, is now feared to be brain dead. Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with the incident but was granted bail the next day. He expressed his sympathy for the family and assured them that he stood by them, offering to take responsibility for the medical treatment of the injured boy.
Following this, tensions escalated further, and a video showing a group of protesters gathered outside Allu Arjun's house began circulating on social media on Sunday afternoon. The protesters, holding banners and posters, were demanding justice for the injured boy, Shree Teja. They also called for a compensation of one crore rupees. Shouts and slogans were heard outside Allu Arjun's grand residence, and reports indicated that stones were thrown, damaging some flower pots in the area.
