Popular American singer Selena Gomez is currently spending more time focused on acting than on music. Recently, her film *Emilia Perez*, in which she stars, was showcased at the BFI London Film Festival. In this film, she plays the role of Jesse Del Monte, Emilia's wife. The movie had its world premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.

At Cannes, the film competed for the Palme d'Or, winning the Jury Prize. This musical crime comedy will be released on the OTT platform Netflix on November 13.
