GRAY DIVORCE 

 Saira Banu, wife of India's renowned music artist A R Rahman, has decided to divorce her husband.

 Their 29 years of marriage will end with this divorce. 

 Divorces that usually happen after more than 25 years of marriage, i.e. divorces that happen between men and women of older age, are called Gray Divorce. 

 The number of such divorces is very low. Divorce usually occurs early in marriage, i.e. between young men and women. Divorces usually happen due to adjustment problems, estrangement or joint family problems.

 But when people decide to divorce after more than 25 years of marriage, it is really a tough decision. 

 In the last 3/4 years, I have seen such Gray Divorce of several people I know. Any type of divorce is extremely painful for me, but this Gray Divorce is even more terrible! And if this Gray Divorce is one-sided, it is not possible to understand how terrible the life of the other side is!
