Tasnia Farin, a model, singer, and actress who has become a popular face in contemporary times. She has showcased her talent in films, web series, dramas, advertisements, music videos, and songs, earning several prestigious awards and gaining immense popularity among audiences. Shisir Royedad has written about her.
Last month, the new web series ‘Chakra,’ featuring Farin and Tawsif Mahbub, was released on the OTT platform IceScreen. Since its release, the series has been a topic of discussion because it is based on a true story. According to the series, nine members of a family in Mymensingh committed suicide 16 years ago, an event that shook the entire country. Inspired by that incident, ‘Chakra’ has been created, and it is directed by Vicky Zahed.
Recently, director Vicky Zahed announced the production of ‘Chakra 2,’ which is expected to be shown to audiences in March-April 2025. It will come as a seven-episode series, and the new season will follow the continuity of the previous story. Although the first season had 20 episodes, the entire story could not be conveyed because the plot is quite extensive.
Tasnia Farin commented on this, saying, "The audience has expressed interest in seeing what happens next after watching the series. Season 2 is coming due to audience demand. This is a completely different kind of work that doesn't usually have the opportunity to be done. I am very happy to be a part of it. I hope ‘Chakra 2’ will be as enjoyable as ‘Chakra’ for everyone."
Among Farin's notable works are 'Ladies and Gentlemen,' 'Out of Network,' 'Tithi's Illness,' 'Prison,' 'Syndicate,' 'Nishbash,' 'Ex Boyfriend,' 'First Year Dem Care-2,' 'When Will We Return,' 'Love and Lost,' and 'Let’s Get Lost.'
