Once upon a time, Abhijeet Bhattacharya lent his voice to several songs in Bollywood, many of which were featured in Shah Rukh Khan’s films. This led to the development of a strong relationship between the Bengali singer and the King Khan. However, at some point, the relationship soured, and Abhijeet stopped singing playback for Shah Rukh for a long period.
Abhijeet has often expressed his disappointment with Bollywood. He mentioned that even tea servers were given more recognition than singers, who received little acknowledgment. He also revealed that he harbored some bitterness towards Shah Rukh, feeling that the superstar was no longer the same as before.
However, in a recent interview, Abhijeet defended Shah Rukh but expressed his displeasure with Salman Khan. He clarified that there was no personal rift with Shah Rukh, but the issue lay in their work dynamics, which he hoped to resolve. According to Abhijeet, "Shah Rukh and I are like husband and wife."
Regarding Salman, Abhijeet didn’t hold back, calling him "a drunkard" and "rude." He even stated that he didn’t want to speak about Salman at all. In the interview, Abhijeet said, "Don’t ask me about him. I haven’t reached a point where I can talk about him."
